This book was produced by the Year Nine Students of Wundowie District High School to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Western Australia and to give people some idea of the little town of Wundowie.

Probably Wundowie's most talked about feature is the Iron and Steel Works, or 'works' as it is tagged by the townfolk. But when exactly was it opened and why was it constructed in the first place? Is there another side to Wundowie than just the 'works'?

All these questions and more will be answered right here in this publication. You, the reader, will discover interesting facts concerning geography, history, population and industrial aspects about Wundowie.

So sit back and allow your eyes to probe into the following pages.
