Although known as the Gold Coast hitchhike murders, Lorraine Wilson and Wendy Evans, were last seen at Camp Hill, Brisbane, on 6th October 1974 and their skeletal remains were discovered on 25th June 1976, in a paddock in bush country off Murphys Creek Road.
