Connor and his partner Gamble (Richard Boone) go along with the deception, convincing McGuire's daughter Dell (Maureen O'Hara) that they've arrived to help the old rancher save his cattle, when in fact they're planning a major swindle. The plan doesn't go as hitched when Connor falls in love with Dell.
